The Road to One Direction's Concert Tickets...

So here goes my happy post about last Friday's 14 hours of lining up just to get tickets for One Direction's On The Road Again Tour 2015 Manila concert next year.

Yes, I'm one of the crazy fans who braved the scorching heat and lined up for 14-freakin'-hours just to secure a VIP ticket in the most-awaited concert of One Direction next year!

Lined up at the MOA Arena around 6am and boy, I'm telling you around that time, the line's beyond cray already! I am decided in getting the VIP tickets (no doubt and second thoughts about what ticket I'm getting!!!) but unfortunately, the VIP tickets sold out after just 2 hours of selling! I personally witnessed children crying as they announce the bad news. It's so unfortunate as I heard some of them even sold personal stuff like their iPads and saved up their school allowances just to get VIP tickets for the said show. There were even parents and grandparents accompanying their kids as they line up and wait for their luck for a VIP ticket. I almost even gave up and lost hope when it's already 2:30pm and we are still around the Arena lounge area (the ticket selling is inside the Arena itself!!!), during that time, I cannot even feel my feet anymore. I'm just following the line in front of me as they move inch by inch closer to the Arena entrance. Sweat, tears and desperation was all over the place as they announce time to time that tickets were selling out by area. From VIP to Diamond to Titanium, and everyone's feeling hopeless and defeated already.

I personally did not give up and I know for a fact that if I won't be able to get a VIP ticket that day, I will score at least a Diamond ticket and that's what I was fighting and hoping for that day! And God was so good to hear my prayers cause after 14 long hours of starving, waiting and hoping, I finally was able to score a Diamond ticket! And since a 2nd show has been confirmed by now, I wouldn't mind camping as early as two days before ticket selling for the 2nd show starts! I really want a VIP ticket so bad and I'm decided to spend my March 21st and 22nd with the greatest boy band known to this iPad generation.

I know, I know.. I look so unglamorous and haggard as ever here.. But yeah, I'm happy cause of my One Direction Diamond concert ticket!!!

One thing I have learned about this One Direction concert ticket experience was how HOPE is everywhere. Hope is within the hearts of all the fans and kids during that time as they were all hoping and wishing for a ticket. That no matter how far crazy your beliefs are, as long as there is HOPE, you will get through anything. And I want you all fellow Directioners to know that! One message I can say to all the kids and parents who even flew from provincial regions and took personal leave from work just to line up last Friday is to please never ever lose hope. I saw what a big influence One Direction is to our generation and how they can inspire and ignite hope to each and everyone's heart. Though some weren't fortunate to get a ticket, a 2nd show is already announced and I know for a fact that HOPE is rising from deep within each fankid's hearts out there right now.

It really is touching and moving to see the kids being supported by their parents as they too even lined up with them. How some children are kissing and hugging their Moms and Dads after each ticket are printed. If this is the power that Zayn, Louis, Niall, Liam and Harry can do to every parent and child, how I wish everyday is a One Direction concert day! Not only HOPE and HAPPINESS was around MOA Arena last Friday, but also LOVE was so much present in the air. Every Directioner's love to One Direction and the parents' LOVE and SUPPORT to their child's dream of seeing the boys live in concert. Aaaah, so sweet!!! Feels like FAMILY DAY! Thank you One Direction for making me see and appreciate the LOVE that is around me. I love you, Momma for being ever so supportive of everything I do!!!

I will see you all soon Zayn, Louis, Niall, Liam and Harry!!!!
After 14 tiring hours, getting hold of that Diamond ticket was so rewarding and fulfilling! I am a very impatient person and I hate waiting for hours but I've realized that if you really want something, you must work hard for it, no shortcuts and all and that's also one of the lessons I've learned last Friday. I am a spoiled kid always getting what I want in a snap of a finger, but last Friday, I got a taste of what's it's like to patiently wait for what you are aiming for. And boy, it isn't that easy! But after getting that ticket, I am super proud to say that I somehow conquered my impatience and got my reward! It wasn't that easy for me actually since I have to cut my vacation short and fly back here just to line up but yeah, the feels is just too strong! But I've met some new friends and fellow Directioners and I can't complain how blessed I am!

Here's to hoping that I'll finally get my hands on the VIP tickets for their 2nd show! *wish! wish!*

What about you, fellow Directioners? Any lessons learned last Friday? Are you up for the challenge of camping out and lining up for hours for tickets for the 2nd show? Sound off in the comments box below and lemme know!

XOXO,

YANNIE :))
