I just want to tell everyone specially to all the young girls and girls-alike that despite all your flaws and insecurities, someone out there sees you as the most beautiful. So never let other's definition of beauty stop you from feeling and giving your best!
Years ago, being in the fashion and blogging industry is far from what I've imagined I could be. Akala ko dahil maitim ako at puro pimples and mataba, no one would like me or would befriend me or would care about what I day so I resorted in trying out several products that I thought could help me boost my confidence and solve my beauty issues. I thought being beautiful is the only key to success. Then I realized na kahit anong beauty product pala gamitin mo, if you don't believe in the beauty you already posses within you(kahit pa ang dami dami mong ginagamit na pampaganda), you will never really feel good about yourself! So I started to not care at all! I stopped being too conscious of what people say about my appearance and focused more on enchancing my skills and talent! The next thing I know, I've got some kids walking up to me telling me they love what I do and they regularly read my blog!
If my body stays bloated despite my constant tries to limit myself from eating my favorites, then so be it! The acne marks that shows on my face every now and then just reminds me that I am human. I go through stress and difficult times but still, at the end of the day, makinis man o barag barag ang mukha ko, what matters most is that I am still Yannie. Ako pa din to, and my being can't be measured by how smooth and flawless my face is or how skinny I am. My dreams are stronger than any pimple marks and the fire inside me fuels my drive to continue my passion despite my growing waist line.
So if you ask me, what really is my point with this post? I just want to tell you guys that we are all beautiful in our own special way. I know na gasgas na gasgas na yang mga words na yan but trust me, that is 100% true and it helps specially when you're having a bad day! Minsan people will jokingly tell you na "hindi ka maganda" but just shrug it off and kahit pabiro, don't listen to them! Above anyone else, God sees your beauty! So just wear your best beauty asset: YOUR SMILE! And get ready to conquer the world and reach for your dreams with that God-given beauty! Flash those pearly whites, you beautiful thing! ❤
