My name is Yannie, a fashion student, blogger and junior stylist. Unlike most kids my age, I don't drink, smoke or party. It may not be obvious but I am a very conservative person. I already finished nursing and now taking up fashion styling/fashion journalism as my 2nd course. I am an advocate of real beauty and I stand against bullying.
I was bullied during college for standing up for myself and what I believe in, then eventually was suspended 3 weeks before our graduation. Those times were definitely the darkest and hardest that I've faced so far and I thought my life would end there. But with the grace of God, I bounced back and changed the whole course of my life! I want to be an inspiration to everyone that's been bullied to never let anyone make you feel that you are less than what you're really worth. That God made you exactly perfect. I wanna send out a message to never let your downfalls define you as a person, that you are better than anyone's judgment and it is never too late to chase your dreams.
I am here to prove to everyone that my life is not a sad story. I want you all to realize that no matter how many rejections and delays in life you'll get, somehow someday happiness will be on your way! Though I've been kicked, downed and ridiculed countless times, I am still here standing strong ready to face any challenge coming my way. I hope my story will be an inspiration to everyone. I am yet to achieve epic things but I know I'm on the right track with the guide of God, my family and friends. Here's to moving a step closer in achieving my dreams! Cheers!
